MEET THE PEOPLE BEHIND VIRGIN RADIO INTERNATIONAL

Virgin Radio International is led by one of the longest serving and most experienced management teams in global radio.

IAN GRACE, PRESIDENT

Ian’s development of Virgin Radio International’s distinctive and highly successful contemporary music-based radio programming has been instrumental in attracting our millions of listeners. His unique approach to programming, which has delivered invaluable market analysis and audience research, the highest standards of production, innovative listener engagement and the hottest new talent, has led us to build market-leading radio stations globally, in multiple languages and formats.

In 1993, Ian established his own consulting business and then built a global network of clients, principal amongst which was the Virgin Group. During the 1990s, Ian was one of the key programming advisers and later Program Director of Virgin Radio UK.

MARK FISHER, CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Mark has over 20 years’ experience in the media industry. He has been particularly responsible for Virgin Radio International’s commercial development, including building long-term relationships with leading media groups globally. Formerly CFO of Virgin Radio International’s predecessor, Virgin Radio Asia, Mark also helped establish the company’s initial operations in Asia.

Mark joined the Virgin Group in 1999 before which he worked as a corporate finance consultant for a leading international management consulting firm and in several roles at high levels of government. He is a graduate of Oxford University.

GEOFF HOLLAND, GROUP PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Geoff has over 25 years of commercial radio experience in some of the world’s largest markets and helps make sure that our programming sounds great. Before joining us, Geoff held positions at Triple M in Australia, KROQ in Los Angeles, Virgin Radio UK and MTV.

MITCH CALLADINE, GROUP PRODUCTION DIRECTOR

Mitch is an audio branding expert with vast international experience. Mitch crafts Virgin Radio International’s unique audio identity to resonate with our cross-cultural global audiences. His experience includes creating branded audio in 68 languages for the Government of Australia’s Special Broadcasting Service and roles at Southern Cross Austereo (Hit Network/Triple M) and Australia’s Nova Entertainment (Nova/Smooth FM).

NICK JACKSON, BRAND MANAGER

Nick began working in radio in 2007 when he joined the promotions team at Heart Cambridgeshire in the UK, part of the Global network. He moved to Dubai in 2012, working in several roles at the Arabian Radio Network including managing the Dubai 92 and Virgin Radio Dubai brands. Nick returned to the UK in 2017, re-joining Global as Brand & Partnerships Manager before joining Virgin Radio International in 2018.
